Parking in a fire lane violates the provisions of Georgia Statute 40-6-203 (a)(1)(e), which states that one cannot stop, stand, or park anywhere in a safety zone; and 40-6-203 (a)(2)(f), which prohibits parking or standing where signs indicate such restrictions.
