Dr. Vince Miller serves as Vice President for Enrollment and Student Affairs at Valdosta State University and is a member of the President's Cabinet. He provides executive leadership for enrollment management, student success, and student affairs, overseeing a $31.4 million operating portfolio and more than 125 professional staff.
With more than 25 years of higher education experience, Miller has held leadership positions at Valdosta State University, Georgia Southern University, and Louisiana Tech University. His experience includes institutional strategy, enrollment management, financial stewardship, fundraising, student success, and campus operations.
Under his leadership, VSU has achieved three consecutive years of new freshman enrollment growth, with annual increases of 5%, 10%, and a preliminary 28% for Fall 2026. During the same period, first-time, full-time freshman retention improved by 10 percentage points.
Miller previously held senior leadership and development positions at Georgia Southern University, where he secured private gifts supporting campus initiatives and scholarship endowments.
He earned his doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of Georgia and holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Louisiana Tech University.
